Our minds are still having trouble wrapping itself around the fact that you are gone; 47 years young.  Joe aka Coach Lew passed away yesterday surrounded by loved ones.  

The Porter Family lost one of their best.  He will be greatly missed.  A GREAT COACH has the ability to motivate & inspire...he truly made a difference in his students’ & athletes’ lives.  

Thank you for all the support so far for Joe (Coach Lew) & his family.   It is at this time that his family needs our support more than ever.❤️❤️

Joe Lewandowski/Coach Lew suffered a massive heart attack yesterday (Sept 24th) while out on a run with fellow HS colleagues.  

As a former parent who’s son played polo under Coach Lew, I think I speak for all parents/students/athletes that Lew touches everyone & has a strong parent/student/athlete following. Coach’s passion for his student athletes & for the game of water polo is intense.  To say that he is AMAZING is an understatement.  Coach Lew’s wife & children have always shared their husband & father with us.  It is our turn to payback.  We need ALL hands on deck!  No contribution is too small.  Coach Lew is a fighter.  We all know that.  Let’s rally behind him & his family & get him home & back in the pool!  Once a PORTER always a PORTER❤️
