The McQuade Family Fire Relief Fund

Hello, family and friends, As many of you have seen, our Big Blue House caught fire on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. According to the Long Beach Fire Department, the fire broke out at 3:27 am and upon arrival the units found fire on all three floors of the house, causing exterior and interior damage that will require extensive repair to the rear of the home. Each day we have thanked God that we are alive because we were not yet home. But we are all devastated and still in shock that we aren’t able to FINALLY move home at the end of June as originally planned. What was supposed to be a happy post-Hurricane Sandy build-back reconstruction has turned into a nightmare with years of stress, delays, COVID-19 pandemics amongst other issues and setbacks. We must remain Stronger than the Storm and The Big Blue House Fire, so keep us in your thoughts and prayers until we connect again. The McQuade Party of Five - Eddie, Sr., Patti (Karnaugh), Eddie, Jr., Peter & Claire now face an even greater financial strain. With the fire damage setting the rebuilding back an estimated year we now face unexpected costs of monthly rental fees, replacing the burned furniture, house supplies and more. We will need as much help and support from anyone that is willing and able to. For this, we will be eternally grateful.
