In the coming days, I’ll be traveling to a place I can’t publicly name yet - for one reason: security.
What I can share is this: it’s a region deeply impacted by war, and I’m going with a clear mission - to document the quiet, steady courage of priests and the people they serve, especially during the Christmas season. In the middle of uncertainty and loss, there are still moments of faith, joy, and Hope that deserve to be seen and shared, carefully, respectfully, and safely.
My name is Adam, and for more than 10 years I’ve served as a digital media leader for a major non-profit organization that has served the most marginalized people for over 100 years. I've dedicated much of my career to documenting mission work among these communities, helping bring those stories to audiences who care and want to help. I’ve spent years producing photo and video in challenging environments, always with the same goal: to honor the people on the ground and let their witness speak for itself.
This trip is different. It’s urgent. It’s sensitive. And it requires resources to do it responsibly.
Why I’m raising funds
I’m undertaking this project on my own time and at my own expense, because the window to capture this story is now, and the security realities mean I have to move quickly and thoughtfully.
Your support will help cover the practical costs of doing this work safely and professionally, including:
