My family is going through an incredibly difficult time right now. On May 1st, my husband was injured while working on heavy equipment—his grader went off Butte Creek Canyon, and he had to jump out as it went off the cliff. He broke his back and ribs in the accident when he hit a tree and has been unable to work since, which has put us on a fixed income. Just a few weeks later, on May 22nd, I suffered five seizures that led to my diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. These health challenges have made it hard for us to keep up with daily life and expenses.
To make things even more challenging, we have to move into a new house because our old home has a serious mold problem. We need help with some catching up and we also need propane to heat our new home for the winter. I have been going to Sacramento every few weeks for medical appointments, which adds to our expenses and stress. With my husband’s injury and his appointments and my own health issues, it’s been overwhelming to try to manage everything on our own. Now
We are reaching out to our community for help during this I don’t want to call difficult because it has there has been may blessings along the way. My husband lived. That’s the greatest of them all. He has been home with us as a family. I thank God for the support we’ve already received, and I pray and thank everyone who helps us. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity. Grace & Peace
