The Curious Fundraiser in Memory of Jessica Kemp

Following on from the sad loss of Jessica Kemp, this fundraiser is to support Jess's friends and family to keep Curious Studios afloat over the next couple of months.

Curious, as many will know, is the beautiful studio space Jess set up with her friends and colleagues Sarah Manton and Sarah Sewell on Sneinton Market.

Jess, Sarah and Sarah were amongst the first people to take on units, and set the tone on the avenues for how beautiful and creative the spaces could be. More recently, it was Sarah Manton and Jess who ran Curious together.

What would Jess like us to do in her memory? Perhaps a bursary for artists professional development, or a garden or green space. Supporting Sarah and Jess's family to cover Curious studio rent for three months will give them time to talk through what should happen next, without the worry that the studio may have to close and Jess's work packed away unnecessarily.

This fundraiser will cover the cost of Jess's studio fees for the next three months to give Sarah, Jess's family and our Nottingham Creative Community time to think this through, and make sure we celebrate our dear friend, Jessica Kemp.
