Help me stay safe when traveling for Thanksgiving

If you know me, you may already know this backstory, but to sum it up: every year at Thanksgiving I have to travel pretty far to go and see family. Because of the distance, I end up spending the entire long weekend there. And unfortunately, staying with relatives isn't really an option anymore due to some unsafe instances that have happened in the past that jeopardized my safety.

So as an annual solution, I book a hotel room to stay in for a few nights! This seems to make things run smoother, giving me a place to go so I'm not as exposed to certain toxic family members.

I have a strict monthly budget, so I try to swing the plane travel expenses and other various costs myself, but I need to ask for a bit of extra help to make the lodging a possibility. If you are willing and able, I'd really appreciate a donation of any amount, truly anything is deeply appreciated.
