Terry Smith Youth Sports Fund

Terry Smith aka "Bamp" or "T" passed away on Tuesday April 25th, 2017 after being stricken at his home with a massive stroke. Terry spent many years of his life volunteering his time in the communities of Pepperell ad Townsend to youth sports, most recently coaching his grandsons in TAP and Pepperell Youth Baseball. The pure enjoyment of this for him knew no bounds. Just an hour prior to being stricken, he was doing one of the things he loved the most - coaching. Getting to coach his grandchildren was the icing on the cake. He was a fairminded coach, as his offspring will attest (they never got extra playing time because the coach was Dad or Bamp!), who fostered good sportsmanship and  teamwork .  His desire would be to help as many kids as possible be able to participatehe and he would have delighted in knowing that even one child could be part of a team in his name.  Funds will go directly to Pepperell Youth Baseball and Softball and the TAP basketball program.
