Terry's Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Emma Davis, and I'm fundraising for my stepdad, Terry Grieger. He gave me permission to share his story. Please know this is the only GoFundMe for his situation.

We recently discovered Terry has an extremely rare ameloblastoma invading his skull and face. It has settled from his upper jaw into his nasal cavity (cheekbone area) just below his eye and over to his nasal canal (nose bone). Thankfully the biopsy came back benign. However, he will still need to have this section of his jaw, cheekbone, and nose bone removed. The plan is for the reconstruction of the total jaw to be done in the same surgery. This procedure will put him out of work while he recovers. He will need physical therapy to learn how to talk and eat again.

This fundraiser is mainly for the medical bills that have already begun to accrue. Still, a chunk will go towards helping them with their bills and possibly transportation costs, hotel stays, and food for my mom in the cities if they need to go there for the surgery, and the money will help my mom take a little time off work to be with Terry at his appointments, surgeries, etc.

We continue to ask for thoughts and prayers. Although we are incredibly grateful for the love and support we have already received while we waited on the biopsy results to see if the tumor was malignant, we ask that any questions be brought to me so my parents can focus on recovery and pain management.
