It is hard to admit, but I need some help. I have had some medical issues and have not had any income since July 2025. Since then, I have used my IRA for all expenses, medical and personal. I am working on multiple options, but have to pay for some things immediately. I am currently approved by the NYU Langone Liver Transplant Institute and on the list to get a liver transplant.

I have a rare liver disease called PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis). PSC is incurable and progressive. PSC has caused debilitating fatigue and brain fog, which affected my job performance. I was approved for FMLA (Family Medical Leave) at my job and was told I could collect short-term disability, but that was not the case. I have applied for SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance), but have not been approved yet.

I am embarrassed that I cannot take care of everything myself. Most of you know, I love working and was juggling 7 jobs at one point. As I am working on the options available to me, I honestly need help paying for my rent, etc. Any help you could provide would be appreciated!
