Temple Drive NE Crash Victims Need Your Help
Donation protected
In the quiet early hours of July 21, 2025, everything changed in an instant.
At 5:15 AM, a 25-year-old driving an F-150 in the wrong direction struck a woman in her 50s crossing the road. The driver never braked and continued driving at highway speeds through a residential area before intentionally colliding head-on with a Jeep Cherokee, causing both vehicles to flip violently.
Inside that Jeep were Jonathan and Taylor (Boswell) Ramoutar, a young, vibrant, compassionate couple whose lives were forever changed in this senseless, tragic accident they did not cause. Firefighters had to cut them free with the Jaws of Life, rushing them to the hospital as they both began the fight of their lives.
They Are Battling Critical, Life-Changing Injuries
Taylor is now stable, but she faces a long, challenging road to recovery, with countless broken bones requiring multiple surgeries and extensive rehabilitation.
Her injuries include:
- A completely shattered left knee and broken leg
- Broken wrists, elbows, and upper arms on both sides
- A brain bleed that, thankfully, has not caused permanent brain damage
Jonathan remains in critical condition, awaiting multiple surgeries while fighting for his life each day.
His injuries include:
- A necrotic bowel requiring emergency surgery
- A collapsed lung with severe lung bruising
- A broken pelvis
- A 10cm surgical incision through his diaphragm
- Liver injury requiring surgical intervention
- Multiple breaks in both legs
- A compound fracture in his arm
- A broken clavicle
- Fractured ribs
These are critical, life-changing injuries that will require months of surgeries, therapy, and rehabilitation, testing their strength and resilience at every step.
How You Can Help
Right now, survival and healing should be their only focus, not the overwhelming financial burdens ahead.
Your donation will help ease the weight of:
- Medical expenses not covered by insurance
- Travel and parking costs for ongoing treatments
- Specialized medical and adaptive equipment
- Intensive rehabilitation and therapy
- Lost income while they recover
Every dollar brings Jonathan and Taylor one step closer to reclaiming the future that was stolen from them in an instant.
