In August Ted Woosley (just recently married to my close friend Ada Ference) was in a horrific motorcycle accident after a tire blowout on the expressway.
We are so thankful that he has miraculously survived and is slowly recovering . But he suffered a traumatic brain injury and needs constant care and very expensive rehab.
His insurance has run out for the rehab and he will be sent home from the hospital in a few days. There is a possible option at a TBI rehab but the cost is $27,000 - upfront! Other options are an at home nurse, outpatient rehab, etc.
At a time when he and Ada should be celebrating as newly weds their days are instead spent at rehabs and hospitals.
Ted has always been there for a friend who needs something and this is our chance to help him. Every little bit can make a difference.
