These awesome students need our support! First computers ever for the schools—Let’s Do This Together

Hi, I’m Heather—founder of Trekking Ambassadors. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with schools in rural Tanzania, Nepal and Peru, and I’ve seen something both inspiring and heartbreaking: students with limitless potential... but no access to technology, such as computers. I am so excited to change this!

I told my daughter how lucky she is. She has access to all kinds of educational materials and tools, such as computers. Many of the young female students in Tanzania drop out of school by the age of 13 to start families or work, with no chance of reaching their inner dreams or given the opportunity for a higher education. I have been doing my small part to help change the trajectory of their education.

We’re raising $6,500 to provide computers to three secondary schools in Tanzania—two of which we’ve partnered with before creating solar powered reading light libraries. These are bright, driven kids who deserve a fair shot at a future in today’s digital world. With your help, we can change that.

$50 – Covers accessories like a mouse, keyboard, and cables

$100 – Supports software and tech maintenance

$200 – Funds the cost of a computer

$400 – Provides two full computer for a school

$1,000 – Delivers 4 computers, plus setup and training
