In the recent months through US National Qualifiers, Rick has been Selected to represent TEAM USA to compete at the prestigious International Six Day Event ( ISDE ) Aug 28 - Sept 2, in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France.
This Fund has been setup to help Rick with finances to travel & compete at the International level. Each athlete is responsible to fund this event of champions with the organization & planning help of the American Motorcycle Association (AMA).

MY STORY
2 Wheels & 2 skis has been a life passion for me my entire life, racing BMX in 1972, Motocross in 1978 while competing in skiing events in the cold winter months in Michigan. Moved out to Breckenridge Co in 1983 with my pick-up & moto to pursue a skiing career with the ultimate goal of making the U.S. Ski Team, Qualified for the U.S. Freestyle ski team as a Mogul Specialist in 1987 while using Moto, MTB and Off-Road racing as a dry land training tool for fitness and agility.
A 10 year career with the U.S. Ski team holding 2 national championship wins, multiple world podium finishes it was time to retire in 1998, dabbled in Pro skiing for a few years while racing Mountain Bikes and Motocross/Arena Cross in Local Events, I was slowly seeing the progression into my love for Moto and 2 wheel competition.

It takes a lot of money, volunteers and timing. It takes a huge amount of funds to move 34 riders and their bikes and gear around the world. The AMA will spend $12,000 just on gasoline for the bikes during the competition, and more than $1,500 on food and water for the riders at the checkpoints and at Parc Ferme at the end of the day. Volunteers and donations make up the team of workers that staff the multiple checkpoints on the course, starting line work area, and Parc Ferme.
Donated Funds will spacifially help me personally get my bike and gear to the competition.
