Support for the Thompson Family!

Lacey and Eric Thompson welcomed their new baby girl, Carlie, on Monday, May 22 at 7:03 p.m.  Their beautiful baby completed their amazing family!  Sawyer (6), Tanner (5), Sadie (3) were so excited about their new baby sister!

On Tuesday, May 23, Eric didn’t feel well and was experiencing back pain. They thought it was a kidney stone and since they were already at the hospital he went to get it checked out in the ER. 

This was the start of their world spinning.

Doctors ran test after test and were told they found some suspicious spots in his abdomen and on his lung. Eric was admitted for more tests and biopsies on the spots.  Following the procedure, Eric was released and they were all able to go home for the Memorial Day weekend. 

That following Tuesday, they were informed Eric has melanoma cancer and it has metastasized to numerous areas.   

Eric is self-employed and recently purchased a building to open Thompson’s Garage, his lifelong dream.       

Their medical bills will be outrageous and this is the last thing they need to have on their minds.  They need all their strength concentrating on fighting this awful disease. 

Eric is a strong person, incredible husband and amazing father.  He also is a great friend who is always willing to lend a hand.  He never puts himself first.  It’s time for him to be #1.  He has so much to fight for and any support for their family will be appreciated.
