#TeamTed - Maloney O’Leary Family Cancer Care Support

Hi, I’m Rebecca Moryl (in the black and white shirt below), and I’m raising money on behalf of #TeamTed to support our dear friends Ted Maloney, Miriam O’Leary, and Conor and Maeve Maloney. Ted is receiving treatments and supportive care for brain cancer and so many of their wonderful friends and community want to help. This Go Fund Me is a way you can do that and join #TeamTed. The funds will go directly to the family and be used for the various cutting edge treatments, in home care and supports, transportation, medication, and life costs of this unexpected illness. There have been and will continue to be significant unexpected costs, such as treatments and medications (including those not covered by insurance), full time visiting nurse services, medical equipment, etc. Any amount is helpful - and can cover everything from a pizza dinner, to a car service to the NJ medical team, to medications and everything in between.

As a Professor of Economics, I know that while giving cash might not feel as neighborly as a casserole, it is in fact the most effective and impactful support you can give. Your support means the Maloneys can spend more time as the loving family we know and less time worrying about all the logistics and details required to support Ted as a patient. Miriam and Ted are so thankful for all the support and love they’ve already received in so many ways. I know that your support and those of the #TeamTed community will be so moving and meaningful to the whole family.
