Talia Peralta is three years old, and she was diagnosed with Sickle Cell disease at three weeks old. Talia has been hospitalized 20 times in her young life. She recently had a stroke due to a Sickle Cell crisis and is in need of a bone marrow transplant to cure her of this disease, the transplant costs $250,000. If she doesn't receive the bone marrow transplant she will continue to have strokes that will progressively get worse and potentially affect her quality of life.
