Team Mongolia- YWAM DTS & Church Plant in Geneva

Hello, we are Mongolians who have been studying at the University of Nations in YWAM Switzerland for 2 years.

For around 10 years, we have served together in Mongolia Campus Crusade for Christ \MCCC\ through family and church planting ministry with the transformative power of God's love and its positive impact on people's lives. At present, the population of Mongolia is 3.5 million, and over 180'000 are living abroad. Christianity in Mongolia has been developing for thirty years, which is relatively young. Only 1.3% of the population consider themselves Christians. Meaning that we are still in the category of the Unreached group.

Gospel needs to be preached and many lives need to be changed. We are facing lots of problems not only among the non-Christian communities but also in the Christian community as well. Generally, the suicide rate is rising rapidly in Mongolia and statistically, every 1 in 4 families is getting divorced. These public health and communication ​issues are facing challenges in providing quality mental health and psychological support services.

We recognize that the cause of the above is the result of social stress ​and frustration, unresolved psychological issues, and the relentless ​work of sin and the evil spirit.

In response to this demand, we have decided and accepted to pursue a two-year study program in Counseling at YWAM in Switzerland. We really want to help those people who are suffering emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. For this reason, ​we want to equip ourselves to become adequate and qualified.

While we are studying in Switzerland, we just do not want to equip ourselves, but to target around Forty Thousand scattered Mongolians all over Europe as well and are hoping to establish a multiplying church among the Mongolians in Geneva, Switzerland for the next 2 years that would multiply and have a great impact on the rest of the Mongolians in Europe.
