Luke is the 17 yr old son of Jim & Glennette Barclay from London Mills, grandson of Paul Barclay. The morning of July 24, 2015, Luke was working at their family farm, disassembling a fuel tank.  The fuel tank ignited, causing an explosion. 50% of Luke's body was burned, he has extensive damage( 2nd & 3rd degree) to the chest, arms, back & face. Luke as LifeFlighted to Memorial Hospital Burn Unit in Springfield. Luke is facing a stay in intensive care for an unspecified amount of time, at least a 2 month stay in Memorial. Luke is looking at many extensive surgeries, skin grafts, etc. over an undetermined amount of time. Luke does have a good future prognosis, so far they have found no internal damage, it will be a long road to recovery in fixing his wounds! We are looking to raise funds for Luke's family for upcoming medical expenses for Luke, travel, accomidations & food for their stay with him & travel back and forth to their home in London Mills(87 miles one way).
