Meet Lauren! Lauren is a beautiful and sweet young lady who has had to battle more in her 12 years than most ever will. At the age of 4, Lauren was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma but went into remission after a challenging 2 year battle at the tender age of 6.

 

In October, on Lauren's 11th birthday, just a short time before being able to announce she was in remission, Lauren and her family found out that her cancer had returned. Since then, the majority of her life has been in and out of hospitals for doctor's visits, transfusions, various treatments, and surgeries.

 

Unfortunately, the Stemmanns received news that no family should ever hear, Lauren's cancer was terminal in February. Lauren has bravely fought through all that medicine can offer and now is receiving palliative care.

 

No parent or family should ever know what it's like to go through this. The emotional and physical toll it takes on them is unspeakable.

 

Please, if you can, help me alleviate some financial burden for them. The past few months have been strenuous, but the Stemmanns will undoubtedly face more financial responsibility in the coming months.
