Team Bria - 4 for SIDS

Donation protected

Bria Louise was born Jan. 22, 2009 to Ben and Lisa Dykema. She had beautiful dimples, was blessed with a happy personality and always had a smile on her face. She especially loved her sisters, Amarah & Ella, and laughed easily at their love and attention. She brought much joy to young and old.

June 26th, 2017 marks 8 years since Bria was called home at 5 months old from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.  Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) occurs when a seemingly healthy baby dies without explanation, typically while sleeping. SIDS is the leading cause of death in babies between 1 month and 1 year old. Despite much progress in research, we still do not know the exact cause of this condition.

Every year my family and I gather together as 'Team Bria' to walk/run the Foot Lake 4 miler in Willmar, MN. Being able to honor her name and memory, especially during this time of year, is something that our family holds close to our hearts. Our hope every year in walking or running is to bring awareness to SIDS. This year we've decided we want to make a greater difference.  On June 24th, 2017 we will gather together again as Team Bria not only to be advocates to this devastating condition, but with hopes to bridge the gap and see this tragedy ended by raising money for SIDS research,  support, and education. All donations raised will go to The Minnesota Sudden Infant Death Center at Children’s Minnesota.

Your support, donations and prayers are greatly appreciated!
Love, Team Bria
