Dear Facebook, friends and family,
My sister and I have started this gofundme campaign to try to help our 17 year old niece, Brenna McNamara, as she starts this long journey on trying to beat cancer's butt.
She was recently diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma, a rare cancer primarily found in Asia. She recently had to undergo surgery to have her eggs harvested, as the chemo could have lessened her chances to have children. She has just started an extreme regimen of chemotherapy which includes 106 hours straight of chemo. After this she will have a 3 week rest, which during this time she'll have to go in and out of the hospital 2-3 times a week to get labs. After these 3 weeks, the process begins again of 106 hours of chemo followed by 3 weeks of rest for 3 more cycles. At the end of these treatments she then will start 7 weeks straight of radiation treatments 5 days a week. She then will go to a combination of chemo/radiation treatment for an unknown amount of time.
Our sister in law has had to stop working to be by her side 24/7 and we know our brother will need to take time off of work as well. We are asking for any help at all to help offset the cost of medical bills and everyday expenses, especially to help care for their two younger children.
Donations can also be mailed to:
Brenna McNamara
c/o Jerilyn McNamara

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Prayers and good wishes are also welcome.
Thank you,
Kim McNamara and Kelly Swenson
