A.J. Koller's Liver Transplant Fund

AJ Koller was born with Alagille Syndrome, which is a multi-organ disorder. For AJ, it primarily affects his heart and liver. AJ has had multiple heart surgeries since birth, in addition to countless other medical procedures. Now he is need of a new liver and thanks to a donor, he should receive his new liver this summer.  We are having a Fundraiser to help raise funds to cover costs associated with AJ’s liver transplant.  As you may well imagine, the cost of transplants are quite high. Although, insurance will cover the majority of the costs with the transplant, there will be many ongoing expenses not covered.   Known expenses include multiple copays (hospital stay, doctor’s appointments, lab work and medication) and out of pocket living expenses during AJ’s hospital stay at Johns Hopkins (housing, food, parking, etc.).
