Team Owen! invites you to join forces to help support Owen Gahn and his family during his medical journey.  Owen is a 15 year-old  freshman at Iowa City High School. He is a witty, competitive cross country athlete, avid reader and video game enthusiast. He was recently diagnosed with a rare brain cancer called Pineoblastoma.

Due to the aggressive nature of this cancer, Owen is currently receiving both radiation and chemotherapy at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. His mother, Tamara Ewoldt, will need to take unpaid leave from work this year in order to manage Owen’s treatment and provide ongoing care.  With your help, we can keep their family afloat and feeling loved by their community by helping to cover essential bills and manage the many financial hardships of cancer treatment.
