My wife and I are educators with 3 daughters. I received a prostate cancer diagnosis and had a daughter go deaf within 30 days of each other in Nov 24. In the last 16 months as a family we have incurred 4 MRIs, 2 biopsies, 2 CAT scans, bloodwork, 5 hearing tests, buying hearing aids, 2 ER visits, ovarian cyst removal and cochlear implant surgery. We incurred over 25k in medical bills in 1 year and are waiting for the final bill for the Cochlear implant. Struggling to keep up. Thank you for reading my story. God bless.
