I am an 8th grade student at York Junior High and my teacher, Ms. Rodriguez was diagnosed with colon cancer over the winter break. Ms. Rodriguez is  a phenomenal teacher and would do anything in her power to help a kid succeed. She is a good mentor and shows her students leadership skills, kindness and compassion. She is making us into  better young people and she does a lot for me whenever I need it.  I would like to do something kind for her because I know that she does a lot for the kids that she has in her class.
