A Culinary Adventure in Japan
If there's one thing that everyone knows about me, it's that I am all about food. It's been my hobby, my passion, and the center of all my efforts for years. I aim to become a Chef at the greatest restaurants around the world and possibly open my own restaurant many years down the road. Adventures, exploration, and exposure to different cultures are essential to developing a culinary background.

The most exciting part about this trip for me is getting to share it with everyone. I will post daily journals and pictures to keep everyone updated on what I'm doing and learning.
Details of the trip
I will be going on a 3 week trip all around Japan from June 8th 2018 to June 29th. Our small tour group will explore Tokyo, Yokohama, Nikko, Aizu, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Beppu, and Fukuoaka. The tour is as much about learning Japanese history and culture as it is about the food - in Japan, the two are often intertwined.

I plan to fund this trip entirely by myself, however, any contributions are greatly appreciated and make it that much easier for me to do and see more while I'm in Japan.
