Fundraiser for Tatyana Pidgurskaya

Tatyana and Sergey's dream was always to emigrate from the former Soviet Union and make a life for themselves in America.  They finally arrived in Maryland and have been working hard for 18 years to support themselves and their daughter.  Tatyana is a dedicated and hardworking early childhood teacher; Sergey worked as an electrician until he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer two years ago.

Sergey's battle since diagnosis has been grueling emotionally, physically and financially.  He has not been able to work for nearly two years and the costs associated with his treatment and illness are many. At this point, their financial resources are drained.  

Tatyana seldom asks for anything; we, her friends and community, are reaching out on her behalf.  She has touched many lives through her work in preschools, in the Russsian community, and beyond.  She is always ready to help others in any way she can. Now she and Sergey urgently need our support.
