Hi Friends & Family!
One of the hardest things I think for all of us to do is knowing when to ask for help. Knowing that you can't always take on burdens alone. And knowing that it doesn't make you weak or lazy, but trusting that you have a great support system of friends/family and sometimes strangers too.
I started this GoFundMe account because I have been accepted to Widener University for my BSN or Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I was supposed to start in May of 2016 but I've been delayed for financial reasons. I have most of the money in grants and loans but I still just need a small chunk to begin that isn't covered with financial aid. I am hoping that the power of numbers can help me start and complete this program in a year.
I want to do school nursing full time, I am subbing across many school districts currently and enjoy it very much, The School District of Philadelphia has a permanent position for me but I can't be hired until my BSN is completed.
My goal is to be able to start my program this fall and be done the following year, just in time for the next school year to roll around.
My daughter Lily is my insipration, I am doing all I can to set a positive example for and give her a lifestyle that can support her many many talents. And hopefully if this goes smoothly, I'll have my BSN in a year!
I will be forever thankful!!! There's not much I can do to repay the favor except passing it forward, oh and cookies, and hugs.......lots and lots of hugs.
