The Kevin Smith Celebration of Life Fundraiser

Hi Everyone - this is Frank Grillo. I was a Medic in 2/37 for both tours in Iraq. One of the boys from Alpha Passed last Sunday - at the age of 38 Kevin Smith, my brother, died of a heart attack. Medical complications and issues with PTSD were involved but Kevin did both tours with 2/37. Baghdad and Talifar/Ramadi. He was there for the Battle of Najaf,  He was there for the Ambush in Diwaniya. He got his purple heart on his first tour after taking a chunck of shrapnel in the thigh. I know cause I cleaned the wound and change the dressings.

 

This was a great dude, a proud Navajo warrior, a Tanker with a Purple Heart and a father of 6. He leaves behind 6 kids, he was the only source of income for this family. So here we are... if anyone can chip in I'm trying to raise money to give his wife some time to figure out her next step. Personally this one cuts deep for me as it did for anyone who knew him. All the money goes directly to the family. If its a lot of money or even .50 cents if you can help them it would be much appreciated.
