On 3/7/2017, our sister's life changed forever. Tania, just 33 years old, semingly in the prime of her life and flourishing in the last year of her master's of fine arts program, received devasting news; she had been diagnosed with stage 4 metastasic breast cancer. Chemotherapy treatment would begin soon after. All of this was happening while juggling an academic year, permanently putting on hold future dreams of an independent art career, travel, and of applying to residencies or fellowships.
Your donations would provide much needed financial support to ensure Tania's artistic pursuits can someday be fully realized in spite of this obstacle. Our goal is to establish financial freedom by eliminating the burden of loans, so Tania can focus solely on her emotional and physical well-being, gain back some sense of control, and help her conserve much needed energy to fight for the life she so valiantly has created.
