Tammy's Breast Cancer Fight

Tammy was diagnosed in June with a highly aggressive form of breast cancer. She is currently undergoing 6 months of required chemo therapy treatments before they can perform a radical mastectomy, to be followed by radiation treatments. Mastectomy recovery time is a minimum of 2 months.
Tammy is a 49 year old single full time working mom of two dependent autistic man children ages 24 & 26 whom she has guardianship over. She has worked for 15 years as a Para, teaching children with disabilities. Problem is, the school district only provides her with long term disability benefits. And she will have a required 90 day waiting period without pay during that time. In addition to that, she will have to pay cobra fees during the 90 day waiting period and while on long term disability in order to have medical coverage.
Tammy will try to continue working while undergoing chemo treatments, but is very concerned how she will manage financially while recovering from the radical mastectomy for a minimum of 2-3 months.
We, her friends are very concerned for her as well, and that is why we have created this go fund me page for her. It's going to take a village for Tammy to get through this medical ordeal.
If you can find it in your heart to donate whatever you can ($5, $10, $15, $20) to help Tammy over the hump of the 90 day waiting period where she will have no income, and will have to pay 100% out of pocket for her cobra, it would be greatly appreciated.
