Our hearts are broken with the shocking news that we are having to say goodbye to our beautiful and much beloved Tammy Bryan. We’ve created this page in response to the outpouring of love we’ve received and the questions about how to support Tammy and her family.
On Sunday, March 17th, Tammy was taken to the ER. On Tuesday, following many tests and admission into the ICU, the diagnosis was given: end-stage liver cancer which had metastasized to her lungs and other areas (We are unsure how long the cancer has been present). On Friday Tammy returned home on hospice care to spend her remaining days surrounded by her loving family: Barry, Ben, and Crystal (and more). To say they are devastated is an understatement.
Tammy will be truly remembered for the light she radiated to those around her. Ever loving and warm, she has been the epitome of love-in-action. She took so many under her wing with her non-judgmental, charming, affectionate, and fun personality. Her laugh was unabashed and infectious. A Jesus-loving and strong woman who never hesitated to share her faith and unconditional love with others. We feel so blessed that we were able to have her in our lives.
Unfortunately, Tammy does not have a life insurance policy and leaves a wake of medical bills and unplanned costs. Funds collected will help to pay for the insurance deductible ($6k) funeral, burial, headstone, loss of income, medical bills, and other related costs. Alternatively, the family can also use other types of support such as prepared meals while they grieve, as well as your continued love and emotional comfort.
