Help get Tammi back on Track!!

Tammi has been a sworn officer with the Orlando Police Department since August 2012 and takes great pride in protecting the community. Not only is she a superb law enforcement officer, she is a wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend. Tammi also served six years in the army/army reserve as a military police officer.
She is not one to ask for help and has always prided herself on her independence so it is difficult for her to ask for assistance. We have set this page up so that people can donate if they can, send their prayers or just share the link so that others can see.
All of the help will make things a little less stressful on Tammi and her family and she can really focus on her recovery without worrying about medical bills and such. We believe that the help that she has given to so many deserves some help in return.
Wanting to serve her community more Tammi signed up for the Mounted Patrol Unit earlier this year and began her training.
On March 4th, 2016, while conducting cross training for the unit she was injured. She suffered a spinal cord injury that left her partially paralyzed and in a wheelchair. Tammi spent a month in the hospital undergoing treatment and therapy. Progress has been up and down but she is still reliant mostly on a wheelchair.
Since the injury she has lost overtime and extra duty pay and due the fact that she requires 24 hour care due to her limitations her husband, and fellow police officer, is not able to work as much as usual.
Modifications to their home have been made to accomodate Tammi's physical limitations and assist her with getting around the house.
While Tammi has received help from several agencies she and her family are still in need. Therapy hours have been cut down, medical fees are coming in and there is still a long way to go for a full recovery and we are trying to get some help with getting more therapy and equipment for the home to help get Tammi back on full duty.
Her daughter and husband would love to have the fun loving, outgoing mom and wife that they love back and with help we can make this happen!!
Any donation large or small is so greatly appreciated and any monies that may be left after Tammi's recovery will be given to local organizations to help other officers in need.
