“Take Your Shot” is a short cinematic film inspired by the legendary Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” — a sneaker that defined an era and a mindset.

It’s not about basketball highlights.

It’s about first crushes, first steps, and first moments of courage.

Through the eyes of a young Chicago teen, we see how one pair of sneakers becomes a symbol of confidence, legacy, and love — both on and off the court.

The Vision

Directed by Tomas Cutts, a former collegiate athlete turned filmmaker, this project captures the intersection of sport, storytelling, and culture.

With the support of Optimus, one of Chicago’s top post-production companies, “Take Your Shot” will be shot with the same precision and artistry as a national commercial.
