Event introduction: The 2025 Taiwan with Pride represents a vibrant community of proud Taiwanese living in Toronto, as well as the city’s diverse and thriving LGBTQ+ Asian community. Emphasizing inclusivity, marriage equality, LGBTQ+ rights, and democratic values—deeply rooted in Taiwan’s queer movement and society and shared by Canada—“Taiwan with Pride” also signifies Taiwan’s unwavering support for Pride. As the first Asian country to legalize same-sex marriage in 2019 and a leader in LGBTQ+ rights, Taiwan—along with countries like Thailand and Nepal—has made significant progress in advancing queer rights across Asia. In a time of uncertainty, with rising attacks on trans people in the U.S. amid an authoritarian shift, we need Pride more than ever! To celebrate, honour, and continue these strides, let’s come together as one—regardless of gender, nationality, race, or beliefs—to show our support and love at Pride Toronto 2025 on Sunday, June 29th!

2025 Taiwan with Pride 代表著在多倫多生活以台灣為榮的一群人，以及這座城市多元且蓬勃發展的LGBTQ+亞裔社群。台灣強調包容、婚姻平權、LGBTQ+權利和自由民主——這些價值深深根植於台灣的性別平權運動與台灣社會中，並與加拿大的價值觀相契合——“Taiwan with Pride”也象徵著台灣對Pride的堅定支持。作為亞洲首個於2019年合法化同性婚姻的國家與LGBTQ+權益領域中的領航者，台灣，與泰國和尼泊爾等國一同在推進亞洲性別平權方面取得了顯著的進展。在這個充滿不確定性，面對美國對跨性別者的攻擊日益增長、政治環境日益保守的時刻，我們比以往任何時候都更需要Pride！為了慶祝、紀念並延續這些進展，讓我們不分性別、國籍、種族或信仰，齊聚一堂，於2025年6月29日，於Pride Toronto展示我們的支持和愛。

The event is organized by our dedicated volunteers in Toronto. Donations toward the event’s cost are welcomed!

We have estimated an expense of CAD $6,000 for marching permit registration, signage production and related costs. This volunteer organization is not a registered charity and is therefore unable to provide tax receipt.

All donations and expenses will be verified and audited by a certified accountant. A detailed balance sheet and receipts will be released on Facebook event page after the event. Any remaining balance, if any, will be carried forward to our next Pride Parade in Toronto.

Small payment processing fees will be collected by the platform (amount adjustable).

本活動為自願性質義工執行，然為支應團體報名費及印製大小型標語之費用歡迎大家捐款（預估花費金額約6000加幣）。由於本團體非註冊慈善機構，恕無法提供捐款證明。捐款所得及支出將由執照會計師確認及審核，並於活動後於本活動臉書頁面公布明細及支出收據。如有結餘，將結餘捐款沿用至下一次遊行支出。
