October of 2016, my mom, Tabatha Way, was diagnosed with Stage III Metastatic Melanoma. Since then, she has had several surgeries, doctors appointments, and treatments. Nearly a year after diagnosis, they discovered the melanoma was growing back. Another surgery was completed and she was restarted back on treatment. With all these doctors visits and treatments comes the numerous medical bills. She is never one to ask for help, especially when it comes to money, but she is overwhelmed with these medical bills. She can't seem to catch up. End of last year, she started working a second job to assist with paying these bills - working 2nd and even 3rd shift some nights. These long days are taking a toll on her. It seems she is either working or resting to prepare for the next treatment or work day. To help her ease the stress of these bills and allow her to decrease her work hours, we are planning a SURPRISE benefit for March 3rd along with creating a gofundme to help direct the donations.
