We are a trans and queer haven/ranch working towards sustainability and resilience. We have several projects we are working towards including doing the recycling for our county.
One of our goals is to establish greenhouses and food forests so that we can be as self sufficient and scalable as possible. Having the ability to grow our own food (and feed for our animals!) helps enormously in terms of how we can grow the project and house and shelter trans and queer people in need.
Having a nursery/greenhouses will allow us to sell plants and seeds to support the project locally and through our Etsy store, as well as engage in mutual aid in the surrounding communities.
If we reach our goal I can focus more on getting food and compost production and less on the odd jobs we do in town to support the ranch. At that point I would likely start a Patreon, with perks like seed packages!
