TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR ANNIE. She had her day in court, which did not go as she would have liked, but there is still a chance to keep her in her home of 20 years. Please donate to this wonderful lady!

The quick back story is that since the pandemic Annie has had difficulty keeping up with her rental expenses. She never let a month go by without paying what she could, and most often paid the entire rent due. She thought she had this arrangement worked out with the property management company, yet to her surprise she received a 3 day notice in February to pay up or get out. Because she was completely caught off guard she missed the time period to pay, and the property management company opened a court case to evict her.

At that point in time communication stopped between Annie and the landlord.

What Annie understood was that she needed to wait to receive a 'summons' and then set up a mediation through the court to remedy the situation.

She did not receive the summons. Instead, a notice to vacate within 5 days was taped to the outside of Annie's apartment building which would never have been seen by Annie if a neighbor had not spotted it and brought the notice to her attention.

With a quick course of action Annie was able to get the court to hold off the eviction until a hearing on the 26th of June. Unfortunately, the judge did not rule in her favor at that time, and wants Annie and the management company to work out a solution.

This leads to the urgent request for financial help. I'm hoping to raise enough money for her to pay her back rent and court fees so the management company will agree to allow Annie to stay in her home.

Going forward, Annie is gaining financial stability by continuing to grow her own pet care business within her apartment complex. She is admired by her neighbors, many whom have become life long friends, and has recently been approached by two of them to be a personal assistant. She is also continuing to seek other outside job opportunities.

I strongly believe that Annie deserves to stay in her home so please help her do so by donating and sharing this with others that may be able to help her.
