The Williams Twins
Donation protected
The Williams' Twins, Journie and Legacie, were born at just 26 weeks and 4 days on July 6th, 2015 via emergency C-section. Weighing just 1lb 15oz and 1lb 13oz these fighters weren't expected until October 7th, 2015. Born at St. Joesph's hospital in Stockton, Ca they were immediately at risk of fatality. Legacie (the boy twin) died three times in his mothers arms on July 14th causing the twins to be transported via helicopter to Children's hospital in Oakland, Ca in hopes to save them. Journie (the girl twin) has been fighting a constant infection that can be fatal with failed procedures to help. While mom is still recovering from her C-section, fighting health issues of her own and still raising Five other children ranging from 3-14 years old, she is now travelling over 75 miles each day to check on her newborns while they fight off infections and struggle to gain enough weight. From multiple procedures to blood transfusions these babies have seen it all in just a matter of 3 weeks. At this time we ask for your help in order to make this process easier for Journie and Legacie's parents as they miss work unexpectedly due to the twins health and experience everyday troubles in order to keep their babies alive. Any and all donations help. Thank you for your time. -The Williams' Family <3
