In our Lost River Valley, we have a gentleman who has had health issues all his life. He is living in a worn-out old camper. His heater has quit working. An electric heater blows the circuit breaker. The roof leaks even though he has tarped it. He uses a microwave for cooking as his stove does not work.
Do you get the picture? His home is just worn out and he needs our help. He is on SSI and receives about $950 a month.
What would you do? Robert is such a good man and I learned he has impeccable work ethics. He came out to help me repair someone else's work on my son's bus last fall. He was very technical and showed me what I needed to do.
We have found a well-taken-care-of older camper with 2 slide-outs. The owner has given me 10 days to raise the money.
