TGI College Readiness Writing Project

Student Achievement Institute (SAI) provides innovative and best practice instruction to improve students’ literacy competencies for long term academic success. Effective literacy instruction is critical, specifically for African Americans, as the United Negro College Fund (UNCF)(n.d.) noted that 61% of the 2015 ACT tested African-American students in a high school graduating class,  none met the college readiness learning standards. SAI’s literacy experts will equip TGI Seniors with literacy strategies to perform well on standardized assessments, gain admissions to the college of their choice, and strengthen confidence to excel in college level writing.
