House Lives Matter (HLM) - https://www.houselivesmatter.org/ - is a community organizing and mobilizing initiative created for and by the House Ball Community, comprised of sexual and gender minority people of color. Our mission is to improve health and wellness, build alliances, abide deeply in our ancestral & historical roots, and provide mentoring to create leaders who take direct action for social change.
During these unprecedented times, HLM is shifting our priorities this year to direct our funding toward direct aid for our community through the HLM COVID-19 Ballroom Relief Fund . House and Ballroom Community members, only, will be able to receive this benefit, @$50 per person. So every small contribution matters!
We are ONLY prioritizing individuals who are members of Ballroom Community at large (Kiki and Mainstream), AND who are affiliated with a House or have been in the past. Please unite with us.
