Back to Jacob's Ladder? YES! After a great year last year and many significant advances, this is our HOPE once again!
Dear Team Timmy, friends of Timmy, and new friends, school starts on August 4th and we need to raise $6,000.00 to send Timmy back to Jacob’s Ladder by then.
For those of you who are not familiar with his story, Timmy is my youngest and has Down Syndrome. “Team Timmy” is a family of friends who support Timmy and enable him to get an education.
This past school year at Jacob’s Ladder he improved greatly. He is now up to memorizing his 3x tables, skip counting by 4's, reading at a 2nd grade plus level, and knows over 300 sight words. Not only that, but he LOVES math and reading! What a drastic change from a public school setting where they said he was "severely" mentally handicapped and that he could not even do single digit math or read more than 30 words. What a life changing, game changing difference you all have made and continue to make in Timmy's life. It is so exciting to see him work to his full potential. Thank-you so very much for making this possible!
