TEAM 1 Eagan Boys Basketball Free Throw A-Thon

FIRST ANNUAL EAGAN HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL FREE THROW-A-THON
This is our second year tackling a major fundraising event for the Eagan High School Boys Basketball Booster Club (EHSBBBC), but we could not be more excited!
All 51 players have been randomly assigned to five teams that represent seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen.
Each team will be working together to raise as much money as possible for the EHSBBBC through GoFundMe Charity donations as part of our First Annual Eagan High School Boys Basketball Free Throw-A-Thon.
For each GoFundMe Charity donation, we receive 97.8%!! In other words, the majority of your contribution will directly help us achieve our fundraising goals and support our program!
So What is a Free Throw-A-Thon??
In front of a crowd of their families and a gym filled with loud music, each player and coach shoots 100 free throws (20 at a time) as fans cheer and try to distract. Players/coaches who are NOT actively shooting free throws will be doing their best to distract the players/coaches who ARE shooting free throws!!
One parent will be at each of the eight baskets in the gym tracking each players made and missed free throws. At the end of the Free Throw-A-Thon, the top two players with the best free throw percentage wins a gift card.
The goal of the Free Throw-A-Thon is to create a fun, program-based event that fosters team bonding and skill development while raising funds for our program. It's sure to be a fun time made with lots of memories!!
So, what's in it for the players?
The EHSBBBC Board, in partnership with the Senior Team Captains and Coach McKenzie, has designed a milestone prize structure to help reward players and teams for all of their hard work to raise funds to support our program!

So, how will the fundraising money be used?
The Eagan High School Boys Basketball Booster Club (EHSBBBC) raises money to fund and support the EHS Boys' Basketball program so that our students have the opportunity to play the sport they love.
Donations from supporters like you are a significant part of the money we raise each year to cover our expenses and plan for the future of our program.
The EHSBBBC Board works closely with our Athletic Director, Sandra Setter, and our Head Coach, Kevin McKenzie, to define our annual expense and fundraising goals.
EHSBBBC funds pay for such things including but not limited to:

2 Annual $1000 Eagan Foundation Scholarships
Bus Transportation to Away Games
EHSBBBC Membership Financial Aid

The Purpose Of The Club Is To Support And Promote The Eagan High School Boys Basketball Program In An Atmosphere That Is Consistent With The Educational Philosophy Of The Minnesota High School League, Independent School District 196, And The Eagan Community. The Club Is An Independent Body Of Parents And Community Supporters. The Mission Of The Club Is To Support The Eagan High School Boys Basketball Program By Involving The Families Of All High School Grades Of Boys Basketball Players In Our Various Activities, With The Common Goal Of Providing Special Services And Support In Order To Enhance The Overall Experience For Our Players, Coaches, And Fans. The Club Primarily Raises Funds Through Membership Fees And By Soliciting Donations From Members And The General Public.
