Scholarships for Autism & ADHD Students
Tax deductible
Trailhead Community Farm School is a new non-profit (501c3) private school in Greenville County, South Carolina (just outside of Travelers Rest, SC city limits) for teens with Autism and ADHD. This school is specifically designed for neurodiverse students’ needs: addressing sensory issues, unique learning styles, and mental health concerns.
TCFS began serving students in September and has the capacity to accept 8 more students in January-June 2024. However, in order to serve more students, we are in critical need of additional community support and funding to support student tuition costs.
With our $20k goal toward our scholarship fund, TCFS will be able to provide reduced tuition option for families in need in 2024. Many families search for years for education and therapeutic support systems for their neurodiverse students. Trailhead Community Farm School is unlike any other program in South Carolina: offering a day program allowing students to continue living at home with their families, with in-house therapy support, weekly field trips, family support, and individual learning plans.
With TCFS as a "light at the end of the tunnel" for many families, we cannot make these resources unreachable for families who cannot afford tuition costs. We need your support to provide scholarships and reduced tuition for families in need. Tuition covers the school's direct expenses, such as program supplies, field trip costs, and teacher pay.
As a start-up non-profit, we have found both expenses and income to be unpredictable. Any donation amount helps to provide necessary tuition support for students and families in need.
