Ammon Lyle and Temilayo Butler are running to serve as Howard University Student Association's President and Vice-President. Together their leadership skills and passion to aid the student body will serve as the catalyst to Synergize Howard University.

Ammon is a Junior Finance Major, with a minor in computer science, and he's the first UNCF-Usher Raymond IV scholarship recipient. There are several key experiences that have prepared Ammon to serve the Howard University Student body.
As Vice-Chairman of the Howard University Senate, he has managed the budgets of every council in excess of $300,000, approved funding for organizations with a $124,000 budget, collected student concerns and implemented policies to address them, and he has written and passed Howard Day Legislation. While Ammon served on the Student Activity Funds Committee and President Wayne Frederick’s Independent Funds Appropriation Committee, he was able to help manage and disburse a fund of over $2,000,000 for student proposals, grants, and student loans. As an Exhibitionist on the Howard University Debate Team, he's had the opportunity to represent Howard during the AT&T Nation's Classic to debate against Hampton University. As the Vice-President of the Finance and investmet club, he created an endowed Student Investment Fund of over $200,000 and oversaw the planning and execution of a financial literacy curriculum. While being a Goldman Sachs Institutional Asset management intern in New York, Ammon learned how endowments were managed to yield superior returns, and as the Statiscian for the We Are Howard student led Alumni Contribution campaign, Ammon was able to help raise over $100,000 for student scholarships and increase Alumni giving by 1%.
Through Ammon's Student Government experience, his knowledge as a licensed real estate agent, his skills gained from analyizng business problems, his financial acumen, and his network; Ammon is able to effectively unite the voice of Howard University's student body and help strategically solve revenue, operational, and human resource issues within the Mecca. His lifelong dream is to recreate the Black Wall Street and reduce the financial disparity that disproportionately affects African Americans.

Temilayo Butler is a Junior International Business major with a concentration in German from West Orange, New Jersey. She currently serves as the Finance Committee Chair of the HUSA Senate, and began her experience in student government as a freshman when she volunteered on School of Business Student Council. As Finance Committee Chair she reviews a comprehensive student organization allocation fund in excess of $700,000, as well as approving and denying requests for funds from students across the board. She also serves as a member of the Student Activity Fee Committee in which she listens to proposals and allocates funding to student groups from a pool of $400,000.
Her ultimate career goal is to become a portfolio equity manager for a global firm. She has a strong interest in Sales and Trading, and International Finance.
She has an advanced knowledge of German, and has studied the language for 8 years.
She currently holds 3.8 GPA and is a member of Howard University's School of Business Executive Leadership Honors Program. She has also been named a Richard B. Fisher Scholar on behalf of Morgan Stanley.
She has a passion for microfinance and economic development, and hopes to start her own global non-profit focusing on these topics along with financial literacy, dignity, and economic empowerment.
As a quadruple legacy, Temilayo Butler is extremely passionate about Howard University. In this period of transition, she believes that a strong student government is pivotal in order for the University to be as successful as possible. In her campaign she wants to unite the student body and the administration, and make sure students feel like their voices are heard.
The Campaign's goal is to reach $7,000.00 in personal and fundraised revenues. A break down of the campaign's costs can be found below in their Campaign's Projected Income Statement:
