Our Story

In July 2012, our family stood on a quiet piece of land and imagined a future built on hard work, compassion, and caring for animals the right way. That vision became Syman Says Farms.

For over 13 years, every fence repaired, every barn maintained, and every animal born here has been part of that commitment. This farm was not built quickly or easily. It was built through long days, personal sacrifice, and a deep responsibility to the animals and land entrusted to us.

Why We’re Asking for Help Now...

Today, Syman Says Farms is at a critical turning point. Unexpected changes in financial support have left us carrying the full responsibility of the farm on our own. At the same time, operating costs have risen sharply — especially hay, which has nearly tripled in price — along with veterinary care and essential supplies.

These challenges have created an urgent financial gap that puts the future of the farm at risk.

The Path Forward...

We are actively working toward long-term sustainability. The most important next step is completing our on-farm Airbnb, which will provide steady income to support daily animal care. We are also planning a solar system and a storage barn to reduce monthly expenses and allow us to purchase hay in bulk. While grants and assistance programs are in progress, those funds are still months away and the farm needs help now.
