Sy May Memorial Fund

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts, we regret to announce the untimely passing of our mother, Sy May. Our beloved mother passed away peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her children and loved ones on Thursday, July 1, 2021. She battled unknown illnesses and was diagnosed with liver failure. She was given only a few days to live. Unbeknownst to us that day came sooner rather than later.

Each day she fought strong and hard to hold onto every bit of life that she had left. She is survived by her eight children and seven grandchildren. Children: Ali, Farid, John, Sakiroh, Kimberly, Anthony, Somally, and Sonny. Grandchildren: Anysa, Nayalein, Isaiah Ysa, Kailana Amayah, Adeya Jhene, Jalina Autumn and Aaliyah Jae.

We are planning a private memorial visitation followed by a private memorial funeral.

For those of you who have reached out regarding our needs as a family during this painful time, know that your support is greatly appreciated. If you are able to donate any amount you are comfortable with, the funds will help pay for funeral and burial expenses for our beloved mother, Sy May.
