Support the Making of Switch Hit – A Rags-to-Riches Comedy

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters of Independent Film,

We are excited to bring to life Switch Hit, a heartwarming rags-to-riches comedy written by Jaronda Johnson and Shonta Burton, a proud Full Sail University alumni with a Bachelor's of Science in Digital Cinematography. This will be the second film project created by this talented duo, and we need your help to make it a reality

About the Film

Switch Hit is a family-friendly PG-rated film that is packed with hilarious moments, self-discovery, humility, and an inspiring story of victory and triumph. It follows a rockstar who, in the blink of an eye, loses everything—while an undiscovered artist gains it all. Through laughter and life lessons, this film reminds us that success is fleeting, but character and resilience define true greatness.

Why We Need Your Support

Independent filmmaking is a passion, but it comes with significant challenges—especially for new filmmakers who have yet to establish a track record of success. Unfortunately, most film budgets are only given to seasoned filmmakers with industry experience, making it difficult for fresh voices to break through. We are determined to change that narrative by proving that new, independent filmmakers can create high-quality, impactful films that audiences will love. But we can’t do it alone.

How Your Donations Will Help

Your generous contributions will go directly towards:

Production Costs – Equipment, set design, locations, and crew expenses.

Talent & Casting – Bringing skilled actors to life on screen.

Post-Production – Editing, sound design, and visual effects to polish the final film.

Marketing & Distribution – Ensuring Switch Hit reaches as many audiences as possible.
