Update: After 37 days in the hospital this sweet little guy will be going home Thursday! Amanda and Hoop are very excited but also a little apprehensive as they will have to learn how to administer PJ’s antibiotics. He will be on them at least another 4 weeks and will also continue therapy at home. He still has a bit of a long road but this is a huge step in the right direction. Please keep Amanda, Hoop, and PJ in your thoughts and please pray for a full recovery for this handsome little man. Go PJ❤️
Hello everyone. I would like you to meet PJ Hereford, born July 11, 2018. This handsome little guy is having some major medical complications.
He contracted a rare and difficult to treat bacterial infection that has kept him in the hospital almost all of his short life. He has been through so much including surgery to drain infection from his brain. At this point it is unclear how much brain damage he will have but he is fighting very hard to get better. It will be a long road for this precious baby.
PJ's Mom and Dad, Amanda Shott and Paul Hereford are wonderful parents and have been at his side 24/7. Although they do have insurance they still will be facing medical bills, lost wages, and an uncertain future for their family. Every dollar will help towards PJ's recovery. If you are only able to send up prayers that would also be very much appreciated.
